IELTS North is part of the IELTSBeacon project, a free IELTS preparation platform based in Toronto, Canada. This page explains, in plain English, the limited personal information we receive and what we do with it. We have tried to keep it short and honest.

02What we collect
This is a simple informational website. We do not ask you to create an account here, and we do not sell anything on this page. The only personal information we receive is what you choose to send us:
- If you email us, we receive your email address and whatever you include in your message.
- If we contacted you first as part of our outreach to teachers and creators, we hold your name, email address and any public profile details relevant to that outreach.
- Our hosting provider may keep standard server logs, such as IP addresses and browser type, for security and basic traffic measurement.
03How we use it
We use the information only to reply to you, to follow up on a conversation you are part of, and to keep the site secure and working. We do not use it for unrelated marketing, and we do not sell or rent it to anyone.
04Cookies and analytics
This page uses only what is needed to load fonts and display correctly. If we add basic, privacy-respecting analytics in future to understand visitor numbers, we will update this page to say so. We do not use advertising trackers.
05Sharing
We do not share your personal information with third parties except the service providers that help us run the site and our email, such as our web host and our email provider, and only so they can perform that service. We may disclose information if required to by law.
06Your choices
You can ask us at any time to tell you what we hold about you, to correct it, or to delete it. If we reached out to you and you would rather not hear from us again, just reply and tell us, or email hello@ieltsnorth.com, and we will remove you.
07Changes
If this policy changes, the new version will appear on this page with an updated date at the top.
